By using Katalist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the service. Pretty straightforward.
Katalist is operated by Adam Roth, Inc. It is a personal productivity platform for tracking metrics, managing tasks, journaling, and organizing your day. Features include custom metric tracking with AI-powered pattern analysis, daily task management, Google Calendar integration, journaling with daily/weekly/monthly reflections, contact management, and optional SMS task management.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. You must be 18 years or older to use Katalist.
You can sign up with email/password or through Google Sign-In. Either way, one account per person. If you need to change your email or other account details, you can do that in your settings.
The data you put into Katalist is yours. We store it to provide the service, and we do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than making Katalist work for you. If you delete your account, your data goes with it.
SMS features are entirely optional. By verifying your phone number in your account settings, you consent to receive SMS messages in response to texts you send. We never send unsolicited or marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP at any time to opt out.

Use Katalist for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the service, or use automated tools to scrape or overload it. Basically, do not be a jerk and we will get along fine.
We do our best to keep Katalist running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We ship updates regularly to improve the product and fix bugs. Sometimes that means brief downtime. We will always try to keep it minimal.
Katalist is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or any damages arising from your use of the service. We care deeply about reliability, but use it at your own risk.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. No hard feelings either way.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of Katalist after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
