Program Name

Katalist SMS Task Management, operated by Adam Roth, Inc.

What is Katalist SMS?

Katalist is a personal productivity platform operated by Adam Roth, Inc. One of its features lets you manage your daily tasks by text message. You can create tasks, mark them complete, delete them, reschedule them, and ask what is on your plate for today. Just text the Katalist number and your message is parsed automatically.

Opt-In and Consent

You opt in to SMS messaging by:

  • Going to your Settings page inside Katalist
  • Entering your mobile phone number
  • Completing a one-time verification code sent to your phone

By completing the verification process, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Katalist in response to texts you send. You also agree to these SMS Terms of Service, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy as they relate to SMS communications. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of other Katalist features.

Message Frequency

Katalist only sends SMS messages in direct response to messages you send. We never send unsolicited messages, promotional texts, or marketing of any kind. You control the frequency entirely. If you text us five times a day, you will get five responses. If you do not text us, you will not hear from us. Typical usage is 1 to 10 messages per day depending on how often you text.

What You Can Do

Here are some examples of what you can text:

  • "Buy groceries" (creates a task)
  • "Done with laundry" (completes a task)
  • "What's on my list?" (shows today's tasks)
  • "Move dentist to Friday" (reschedules a task)
  • "Delete the gym task" (removes a task)

Your natural language is parsed automatically. No special syntax required.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Katalist does not charge for SMS, but your wireless carrier may charge for each message sent or received according to your plan.

Opt-Out

You can stop receiving messages at any time. Text STOP to the Katalist number to unsubscribe immediately. You can also remove your phone number from your Katalist Settings page. After opting out, you will not receive any further messages unless you re-verify your number. You will receive a single confirmation message after texting STOP.

Help

For help with SMS features, text HELP to the Katalist number. You can also email us at support@katalist.app or use our contact form for assistance.

Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your phone number is stored securely and used only for the SMS task management feature. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your phone number or the contents of your text messages with any third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy
